Road trips allow you to stop along the way, like if you see a sign that says Snake Farm. And you are like, what is that? You can pull over and go check it out. If you are on a bus, it makes it hard because there are issues with timing and finding the closest stops.
All this talk about road trips, I must say that I don't really enjoy them. I love travelling and seeing new places, but what would be best (in my opinion) would the ability to just teleport to where I want to go.
Teleportation would be a pretty killer super power. You wouldn't have to worry about being late for work, you could travel where-ever, when-ever and for free. This would be pretty cool.
Though, I think that what I would as super power might be telepathy. Because there are so many times when I'm having a conversation with someone and I just really want to know what they are really thinking. (And who wouldn't want to cut out the guess work of wondering whether someone likes them or not?)
Another power that might be cool is precognition. It would certainly be useful from a financial stand point, if you could see the future lottery numbers, future sports team winners and things like that.
But that brings up an interesting question; if you have super powers does that mean you need to use them?
Do you have to use them for yourself or others? For good purposes or evil?
I think it is interesting. As far as my own opinion, I would probably use them to help my friends, family, and myself but maybe not on a larger scale.
What would you do?
What do you think about road trips?
